Description

Pharmaton capsules contain a balanced combination of G115 concentrated Ginseng Extract Vitamins and Minerals. nbsp To help during periods of exhaustion through stress tiredness or weakness and when you experience a lack of vitality. Pharmaton capsules also help prevent and treat symptoms caused by ill balanced or deficient nutrition. Do not exceed the stated dose. Pharmaton capsules contain Vitamin A.

 

Warnings

How to take Pharmaton Capsules: The recommended course of treatment is one capsule per day. The capsule should preferably be taken in the morning with food. The capsules should be swallowed whole with water Pharmaton Capsules are recommended for 4 weeks If symptoms have not shown any improvement, or you are concerned, please consult a doctor. Pharmaton Capsules may be taken in periods of up to 12 weeks

 

For longer term use, consult a doctor. Do not take more than the recommended dose: In the case of overdose, ask advice from a pharmacist or doctor Contents Each Pharmaton Capsules contains the following active ingredients: Standardised Ginseng extract G115 (made from the roots of Panax ginseng C.A. Meyer 40.0 mg Vitamin A palmitate (Vit. A) 2667 IU Biotin 150.0 mcg Thiamine nitrate (Vit. B1) 1.4 mg Riboflavin (Vit. B2) 1.6 mg Pyridoxine hydrochloride (Vit B6) 2.0 mg Cyanocobalamine (Vit. B12) 1.0 mcg Ascorbic acid (Vit C) 60.0 mg Cholecalciferol (Vit. D3) 200 lU dl-alpha Tocopherol acetate (Vit E) 10.0 mg Nicotinamide 18.0mg Folic acid 100.0 mcg Iron (as dried ferrous sulphate) 10.0 mg Calcium (as dibasic calcium phosphate) 100.0 mg Copper (as dried copper Sulphate) 2.0 mg Magnesium (as dried magnesium sulphate) 10.0 mg Zinc (as zinc sulphate monohydrate) 1.0 mg Selenium (as dried sodium selenite) 50.0 mcg Lecithin 100.0 mg One of the active ingredients in this medicine is colecalciferol.This is the new name for cholecalciferol. The ingredient itself has not changed.

 

The capsules also contain the following inactive ingredients: rape oil, arachis (peanut) oil, ethyl vanillin (flavouring), gelatin, hard fat and triglycerides, medium chain. The capsule shell contains gelatin, glycerol and iron oxide red and iron oxide black (colourings). Warnings Before you take Pharmaton Capsules: Pharmaton Capsules contain vitamin A. Do not take this product if you are pregnant, likely to become pregnant or if you are breastfeeding.

 

You should make allowance for vitamins, especially Vitamins A and D, or minerals obtained from other sources. Do not give these capsules to children Important warning: Contain iron. Keep out of reach and sight of children as overdose may be fatal.

 

Do not take Pharmaton Capsules if: You have severe problems with your kidneys You have problems with excessive iron uptake into your bloodstream (such as haemochromatosis) or excessive levels of vitamin A or D in your body. If you are aware that you have a family history of haemochromatosis, you should speak to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Pharmaton Capsules. You have problems with high levels of calcium in your blood or urine You are taking products containing Vitamins A or D or Vitamin A derivatives called retinoids (e.g. to treat acne) You are allergic to any of the ingredients Pharmaton Capsules contain Arachis oil (peanut oil): If you are allergic to peanut or Soya, do not use Pharmaton Capsules. If in doubt ask a pharmacist or your doctor After taking Pharmaton Capsules:

 

Rarely gastrointestinal reactions, such as nausea and stomach pains, have been reported after taking Pharmaton Capsules. These are less likely to occur if the capsules are taken with food. Tell your doctor or pharmacist about any other effects not mentioned in this leaflet.
